Our signature culinary & wine retreats allow you to immerse yourself in Italian culture and traditions through the wonderful food & wine that Italy is known for.  You will have the opportunity to learn about and sample authentic regional Italian cuisine while exploring the beautiful surrounding areas and towns.  In addition to hands-on cooking lessons from some of the best chefs in the area, we will visit local markets and enjoy vineyard visits & tastings and walks through some of the most beautiful scenery in Italy.

When most people travel to the Veneto they often only visit Venice.  And while Venice is of course unique and incredibly charming and full of history, there is so much more that this region has to offer and plenty to explore. Venice itself is surrounded by many small lesser known islands, such as Murano, Burano and many less visited. Murano is the historic center of glass blowing, while the lace making island of Burano is a visual feast of multi-colored houses along the canals.  There are also several nearby towns of importance that are steeped in culture and history such as Verona and Bassano di Grappa, just to name a few.  On our retreats you will have the opportunity to stay at luxury villas and visit the Veneto region of Italy “off the beaten path”. This is truly a unique experience!

During part of our retreat we will be staying at a villa of the XVI century, that was inspired by the tradition of the Veneto region, has been re-interpreted to become an elegant luxury hotel and hosts an impressive permanent exhibition of contemporary art.
